goTUBE is designed with a 32mm OD in order to run in bearings and pillow blocks. The 16mm pattern is threaded into the ends of the tube so you can easily mount drive components to the tube for a no-slip transmission of power. The bore of the tube is both 14mm in diameter and a 12mm square. The 14mm diameter allows bearings to slide in the ends. The 12mm square bore caters to creating linear drives with lead screws.
Thefirsttool is a parts library specially built for individuals and teams such as robot competitions and robot enthusiasts.

The Strafer Chassis Kit is a rigid, low-profile chassis that includes high-torque 312RPM planetary motors, ball-bearing mecanum wheels and a configurable chassis you can tailor to your liking.
Motors
At a glance, you might wonder, where are the motors? Flip it over and you'll notice the nested 312RPM 7203 Series Planetary Gear Motors. Combined with the 101mm wheels, they give the chassis a theoretical speed of over 5.14 ft/sec. These motors drive all steel miter gears, heavy duty hubs, and ball-bearings ready for some low-friction strafing action!
Miter Gears
The miter gears, located near each of the four corners of the chassis, create a 90° drive so that the motors can nest inside the 3120 Series U-Channel. The miters have been battle-tested, even with brushless motors, and are extremely stout. Do not worry about slipping as the bores are matched to the profile of the shafts they are mounted to.
Shafting
All shafts (including the motor shafts) are 8mm REX for maximum strength.
Wheels
The thefirsttool Mecanum Wheels are 101mm in diameter, have ball-bearing supported rollers, a narrow profile and steel side plates. Each wheel is only 260g - far less than the competitors. The reduced rotating mass yields quicker acceleration with less strain on the motors.
Frame
