5215 | Series Servo Gearbox | The 5215 series servo steering gear box is driven by Zhouyu dual-mode servo steering gear. The all-aluminum frame acts as the mounting fixing bracket, load-bearing bone and cushion block of the servo gear box. The steel hub output shaft is mounted in a pair of bearings for smooth rotation while isolating the axial load of the servo rudder from the output spline shaft of the servo rudder. The gear ratio of the servo steering gear box is a compromise between speed and torque. By decelerating the servo actuator, it multiplies the torque on the final output shaft, thus making the servo actuator useful in more demanding applications. Each side of the gearbox has M4 threaded holes. The threaded holes adopt the standard 8mm distance grid hole design of Zhouyu robot, which provides a broad installation possibility for compatibility with the entire Zhouyu robot system. The clamping hub at the top of the gearbox has M4 threaded holes to secure other components to it, but you can also choose to use M4 hardware and feet or spacers to fix other parts or combinations directly to the aluminum output gear. The 8-mm hexagonal hole of the hub shaft can drive 8-mm Liu Jiao Zhou or can be used to pass cables, wires, shafts, etc. to avoid tangling and limit the rotation angle of the final gear, while maintaining a neat appearance, protect the lives of robots and so on. The gearbox uses an external gear ratio of 2:1, which increases torque and accuracy by two times. The servo gearbox can be used in feedback mode and continuous mode. In feedback mode, your signal controls the position. In continuous mode, your signal controls speed and direction. It can be switched to one of these two modes using the 5102-0001-0001 servo the programmer.
